Mahjong isn’t just a fun hobby: a Chinese game beloved by Jews for decades, it’s part of the diverse history of the Jewish South. This class with Sara Mayeux will initiate you into that multigenerational, multicultural tradition.

Mayeux has 25 years of experience teaching mahjong. Her three-hour class at MSJE (taking place Sunday, June 28th from 10am-1pm Central) will include a brief history of the game and will leave with the foundations to play following National Mah Jongg League Rules. Refreshments will be served.

Seating is limited, so advanced registration is required. Participation costs $50 for MSJE members and $60 for non-members.
