Dear MSJE Friends,
At a time when we are all craving a more joyful Jewish community, MSJE continues to put a Southern accent on Jewish joy and continues to be a home for preserving and sharing our unique and wonderful stories–with each other, with our children, and with the entire world.
This whiskey jug belonged to Max Mann, a Jewish saloon owner at the turn of the century. Born to Jewish immigrants in the South, Max grew up in Bayou Sara, a diverse Louisiana river town.
