These newly published findings illuminate the experiences of Jewish soldiers from Louisiana on both sides of the Civil War. In this virtual event, senior Shapell Roster Researchers Alexandra Apito and Caitlin Winkler shared stories of service from the state that sent more soldiers to the conflict than any other in the South.
