Jewish Cinema South
Calling all potential Jewish Cinema South partners!
Jewish Cinema South: A Network of Jewish Film Festivals is one of the flagship programs of the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life. If your community is thinking of holding a film festival in partnership with Jewish Cinema South during 2010-2011, the festival’s 10th season, here’s how to begin.
ISJL’s annual Jewish Cinema South planning meeting will be held Feb. 22-24 in Jackson, Mississippi – running from 8:30 a.m. Monday until noon Wednesday. We’ll discuss the coming season, introduce new communities to the festival process and spend significant time screening and discussing films and considering programming possibilities.
Every community that wants to participate in Jewish Cinema South 2010-2011 must send at least two representatives to the planning meeting. If your community is thinking of hosting a film festival in future years, it’s still a good idea to attend. To view last year's brochure, click here.
For more information, contact ISJL at 601.362.6357 or e-mail us any time. We look forward to seeing you in Jackson!
