Contribute Memorials & Honorariums
In an increasingly materialistic world, we find that many people prefer a gift that furthers the values of the giver and recipient. The Institute has a wonderful way to say “Congratulations,” Happy Anniversary,” “Thanks for All You’ve Done” or, to offer a remembrance for someone loved and admired. Such a gift will honor the recipient while helping the Institute maintain and grow programs that touch thousands of Jewish families.
When you send a gift to celebrate a life event, to honor someone or to offer your sympathy, the Institute will send a personal card to the designated recipient. The card includes your name, address and the occasion for sending a contribution – without denoting the amount of your gift. The honoree / recipient’s name, occasion and your name will also be listed in CIRCA.
A gift to the ISJL is meaningful to those you honor and serves as an investment in our education, history, museum and rabbinic programs. Your gifts also communicate your support of the ISJL and our mission.
To make a tribute gift, enclose a check payable to the Institute of Southern Jewish Life and provide us with the following information:
- Your name
- Your address
- The honoree / recipient’s name and the occasion for your gift
- The honoree / recipient’s complete address
- Whether or not you would like your name listed in CIRCA as a donor
Tributes should be mailed to:
The Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life
PO Box 16528
Jackson, MS 39236-0528
Your contributions will be recognized in ISJL written publications unless you request that your gift remain anonymous. For federal and state tax purposes, gifts to the ISJL are normally tax-deductible. You are urged to consult with your own tax advisor with respect to your philanthropic contribution.
